LAS VEGAS (July 2026) – Ferraro’s Ristorante invites guests to experience its next Taste & Learn on Saturday, July 18 at 5 p.m. with wines from Avignonesi. Taste & Learn is Ferraro’s popular, monthly wine-tasting event that provides illuminating wine education along with a menu of imaginative, authentic Italian small plates created by Ferraro’s executive chef Mimmo Ferraro.
Founded in the rolling hills of Tuscany’s Montepulciano region, Avignonesi has become one of Italy’s most acclaimed producers of Vino Nobile di Montepulciano. The estate embraces a deep commitment to organic farming, positioning itself as a leader in sustainable viticulture while honoring centuries of Tuscan winemaking tradition. Centered around the Sangiovese grape and the unique terroir of Montepulciano, Avignonesi cultivates its vineyards with meticulous care, allowing each wine to reflect the character, complexity and elegance of the land. With a profound respect for nature and an unwavering pursuit of authenticity, Avignonesi crafts expressive wines that capture the essence of Tuscany and have earned recognition on the global stage.
Taste & Learn attendees will begin with Da-Di Bianco, a vibrant and expressive white blend featuring Trebbiano, Grechetto, Petit Manseng and Vermentino. Bright citrus, white peach and tropical fruit notes are complemented by floral aromas and refreshing acidity. The tasting then moves to Avignonesi’s Vino Nobile di Montepulciano, a classic expression of Sangiovese offering elegant layers of red cherry, plum and violet accented by earthy undertones and refined tannins. Next is Grifi, a sophisticated blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Sangiovese that balances ripe black currant and dark berry flavors with notes of tobacco, spice and savory herbs. The experience culminates with Desiderio, a powerful yet polished Merlot renowned for its rich concentration of blackberry, black cherry and cocoa, supported by velvety tannins and a long, luxurious finish.
“Avignonesi has built an international reputation by remaining true to its roots,” said Mimmo Ferraro, executive chef, Ferraro’s. “That dedication to tradition and quality aligns with our approach in the kitchen, making this an especially appealing Taste & Learn experience.”
