LAS VEGAS – FINE Entertainment Management is capturing the spirit of classic Vegas charm with a new 24-hour dining and entertainment lounge concept, The George Sportsmen’s Lounge, or for short – The George, coming to the highly anticipated Durango Casino & Resort opening this fall.
Created by entrepreneur and Founder/CEO of FINE Entertainment Management, Jonathan Fine, says the concept pays homage to classic Vegas big tippers, commonly called “a George” – a nod to the recognizable portrait on the one-dollar bill. The new sportsman lounge will bring this persona to life by embodying and evoking the spirit of George by bringing the buzz and being the pulse of excitement. At The George, it’s not just about being at the party, you are the party.
The George is set to become Vegas’ local hotspot with live entertainment, bartop gaming, sports viewing, patio parties, full-service dining, handcrafted cocktails and lounge-style bar seating. The venue will boast best-in-class audiovisual, including a 56-foot LED screen, broadcasting live games and providing an unmatched backdrop for sporting events and live music.

The George will serve chef-driven American fare, signature cocktails, beers and wines in an indoor-outdoor setting. Facing the northwest side of the casino near the corner of Durango and the 215 Beltway, guests can channel their inner George on the outdoor patio, which will be open for friends and family to come together to play games such as cornhole, shuffleboard, giant patio games and other seasonal activities, all while taking in the stunning mountain landscapes in the distance.
Patio parties will commence with nightly entertainment on the patio stage, featuring local and national bands and DJs. The George will also provide an unmatched gameday experience with two full-service bars, patio bottle service, more than 60 TVs and a multi-use outdoor LED wall.
“The George will represent both vintage and modern Vegas by bringing together sports, entertainment and high-quality food and drinks all in one place. Here, anyone can come and be a George,” Fine says.
Open 24 hours a day, the restaurant will offer a diverse menu selection of artisan flatbreads, burgers, sandwiches, soups, salads, and entree dishes including premium steaks and seafood offerings. The George will also offer a swanky weekend patio brunch featuring their signature charcuterie boards, bottomless mimosas and bottle service and live music.
