LAS VEGAS (Sept. 17, 2025) – Fontainebleau Las Vegas announces the return of the Make-A-Wish Nevada Fashion Luncheon on Thursday, Nov. 13, at Papi Steak featuring designs from Graff Diamonds and Zimmermann. This year’s event, one of the organization’s largest annual fundraisers, will honor philanthropist Colleen Soffer with the inaugural Linda Richardson Founder’s Award, recognizing her vision, generosity, and support of the mission to make wishes come true for children with critical illnesses. The award’s namesake, Linda Richardson, is a former Make-A-Wish Nevada board chair and long-time donor to the organization who has also served as chair of the Make-A-Wish Fashion Luncheon for 24 years.
“With Colleen Soffer’s involvement, the Make-A-Wish Fashion Luncheon continues to evolve and grow,” said Scott Rosenzweig, CEO and President of Make-A-Wish Nevada. “Her generosity has elevated this event to new heights, reinforcing its reputation as one of the city’s premier fashion and fundraising events. It is especially fitting that our first Linda Richardson Founder’s Award – named for our organization’s largest benefactor whose support of critically ill children is unparalleled – will honor Colleen, who shares Linda’s commitment to our mission.”
“I am deeply honored to receive the inaugural Linda Richardson Founder’s Award,” said Soffer. “Make-A-Wish Nevada holds a special place in my heart, and I am continually inspired by the organization’s unwavering commitment to changing the lives of children facing critical illnesses. The impact of a wish is truly immeasurable, and I am grateful to play a small part in supporting this mission.”
The Fashion Luncheon will kick off with a cocktail hour and silent auction featuring designs from Graff Diamonds from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Followed by a coursed lunch, raffle, live auction and fashion show featuring designs by Zimmermann from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Additionally, on Thursday, Oct. 9, Make-A-Wish Nevada will host its annual ‘Come As You Are Event’ shopping fundraising event at Zimmermann fashion boutique at Fontainebleau Las Vegas from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., with a portion of the day’s proceeds benefiting the nonprofit.
The 2024 Make-A-Wish Nevada Fashion Luncheon, also hosted at Papi Steak, featured designer fashions and inspiring wish stories, raising more than $1 million to grant life-changing wishes for children across Nevada.
