RENO, Nev. – Charlie Palmer Steak, Reno’s only celebrity chef-owned restaurant, has released dates for the 2023 dinner series at Grand Sierra Resort and Casino (GSR) featuring premium cuts of meat, exquisite wine selections and unforgettable culinary experiences with Chef Palmer himself.Spring Celebration – April 22
Say goodbye to winter and welcome spring with a savory five-course dinner and wine pairing inspired by the season during the Spring Celebration event. Guests will enjoy mouth-watering dishes, made with fresh seasonal ingredients from local purveyors, along wine pairings. Dishes like a panzanella salad made with duck prosciutto and perfectly char-grilled black angus filet mignon paired alongside wines like a Bread and Butter Prosecco from Italy.
James Beard Awarded chef, Charlie Palmer will host this memorable event on Saturday, April 22 from 6 to 9 p.m. Guests are encouraged to join the celebration at 6 p.m. for a cocktail reception to start the evening and will also receive a signed cookbook as a special gift. Pigs & Pinot – June 10
One of GSR’s most anticipated events is back. Pigs & Pinot features succulent pork dishes expertly paired with some of the finest Pinot wines from Napa and Sonoma County. Hosted by Charlie Palmer and curated by the staff at Charlie Palmer Steak Reno, Pigs & Pinot is an unmissable dining event. Indulge in five delectable pork dishes including a pork belly chicharron and lacón cubanos alongside wines like a 2016 Charlie Clay from Russian River Valley, Calif. End the night with an array of sweet treats like chocolate dipped candied bacon.

The Beefsteak – Sept. 30
The iconic Beefsteak event is making its way back west for the second time this September. The Beefsteak features copious amounts of family style meats including chops, bone marrow and more. Abundant libations, including wine pairings, locally-owned bourbon, and beer distillers and brewers flow throughout the event. With a live band playing a curated song book of American classics, guests will enjoy the indulgences of food, drink and song over communal dining in celebration of The Beefsteak. Utensils are optional and available for the faint of heart.

Holiday Wine Dinner – Dec. 9
Celebrate the holidays with a festive multi-course dinner and wine pairing.
