LAS VEGAS – On Saturday, Mar. 7, legendary rock band FOREIGNER made an exclusive appearance in Las Vegas, with a special visit to Las Vegas Motor Speedway where members of the band took part in a unique on-track experience, driving real stock cars. The visit also served as the official announcement that Foreigner will perform the national anthem ahead of the highly anticipated Pennzoil 400 race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on Sunday, March 15.
Taking place at the speedway’s NASCAR Racing Experience and Richard Petty Driving Experience, the event gave band members Lou Gramm and Luis Maldonado the opportunity to get behind the wheel and experience the thrill of racing on the iconic track.
One of the most successful rock bands of all time, FOREIGNER has earned a prominent place in music history, boasting more Top 10 hits than Journey and rivaling Fleetwood Mac in chart dominance, with recognition across multiple categories in Billboard’s “Greatest of All Time” rankings. With 10 multi-platinum albums, 16 Top 30 hits and more than 80 million albums sold worldwide, the band’s iconic catalog continues to fuel sold-out tours and enduring global popularity.
