LAS VEGAS – The Formula 1 Heineken Silver Las Vegas Grand Prix Pit Building has been recognized with the 2024 Best Project Award from Engineering News Record (ENR) Southwest region in the Sports and Entertainment category.
FEA Consulting Engineers provided mechanical, plumbing, low voltage, environmental and lighting services for general contractor, The PENTA Building Group (PENTA), and lead architect Klai Juba Wald Architecture + Interiors. The F1 Pit Building serves as the starting and ending point of the Las Vegas F1 Circuit and is where cars receive service throughout the race.
The ENR Best Projects Award is recognized as one of the most esteemed and sought-after accolades in the commercial construction industry. For over 25 years, ENR Southwest annually reviews nearly 100 entries in the region and chooses the best projects based on several key factors, including innovation, quality, safety, teamwork, community impact and overall project execution.
“This recognition highlights the hard work, dedication and innovative thinking of our entire team,” said Robert Finnegan, president and owner of FEA Consulting Engineers. “We’re incredibly grateful for our partnership with PENTA, and to ENR for this prestigious recognition on one of the most iconic Las Vegas landmarks to have been built in recent years. We are proud to contribute to such a remarkable project.”
The F1 project is featured in ENR’s publication and was celebrated at the Best Projects Awards program recently.
