Girl Scouts of Southern Nevada (GSSNV) is thrilled to announce the return of its highly anticipated cookie booth season, beginning February 7, 2025, and its Mega Drop was on February 1, marking the official kickoff of cookies arriving to the warehouses. Local Girl Scouts will set up shop across the Las Vegas Valley to offer fan favorites like Thin Mints, Peanut Butter Paddies, as well as this year’s exciting new flavor Toast-Yay!“Mega Drop is more than a logistical feat; it’s the heart of our cookie program. Trucks of cookies coming in also include our newest flavor Toast-Yay which will retire after this year. Truly a must try, “ said Kimberly Trueba, CEO of Girl Scouts of Southern Nevada. Mega Drop 2025 will take place across three locations in the Las Vegas Valley, including the popular Cowabunga Bay. Each location will serve as a bustling distribution hub, where troops will gather to collect their orders, load their vehicles, and strategize their sales plans for the season.
The Girl Scout Entrepreneur Program is the largest girl-led entrepreneurial program in the world, teaching participants essential skills while giving them the opportunity to earn funds for troop activities and community projects.

ABOUT GIRL SCOUTS OF SOUTHERN NEVADA
Girl Scouts of Southern Nevada (GSSNV) was founded on April 14, 1932. The first area Troop started in Boulder City, Nevada. Girl Scouts of Southern Nevada currently serves the four Southern-most counties in Nevada: Clark, Lincoln, Nye, and Esmeralda, as well as the Southern California counties of Inyo and San Bernardino (eastern border).
GSSNV provides STEAM and outdoor programs that promotes advancement in higher education and wellness in girls. The GSSNV council office, shop, and training facility is the result of a Reynolds Building Grant received in 2002. GSSNV moved into our current location at 2941 East Harris Avenue in 2004 continuing the tradition began by Juliette Gordon Low in 1912 of building girls of courage, confidence, and character.
