Goodwill of Southern Nevada (Goodwill®) will celebrate 50 years of service by hosting supporters, partners, program alumni, and team members at the Golden Anniversary Gala presented by PNC Bank on Thursday, Feb. 27 at the Keep Memory Alive Event Center.
The event will benefit Goodwill Training Scholarships that support skilled trade employment in healthcare, entertainment, transportation, and other key local industries. Attendees will experience a night of historical flashbacks, luminary awards, and upcycled artworks and outfits created by local artists and fashion designers.
“This once-in-a-generation milestone warrants a gathering that celebrates the people, partners, and purpose that have made Goodwill a pillar of our community,” said Goodwill of Southern Nevada President and CEO Rick Neal. “We thank PNC Bank for their partnership and presenting sponsorship as we honor the community of donors, shoppers, partners, program alumni, and team members who have helped our organization thrive for five decades.”
“PNC is proud to sponsor the Golden Anniversary Gala. In today’s labor market, it is more important than ever to acknowledge Goodwill of Southern Nevada’s long lasting, positive impact on helping drive career growth and economic opportunities in the communities we serve,” said Denette Suddeth, PNC regional president for Nevada. “PNC and Goodwill have a shared goal of helping to make our communities better places to live and work.”
Event and table sponsorships, individual tickets, and in-kind donation opportunities are available. For more information, please contact Bryan.Stewart@sngoodwill.org or by calling 702-214-1652.
