The NV Energy Foundation presented Goodwill of Southern Nevada with a $10,000 check on Wednesday November 9, 2022. The grant is meant to support Goodwill’s Workforce Development Programs for veterans.
Goodwill’s programs also help spouses of active-duty service members identify and train for careers that aren’t rooted to a single location or offer limited employment options.
So far this year, Goodwill has helped 156 veterans, active-duty spouses, or household family members of veterans secure employment with the help of free Goodwill Career Services.
