Grand Canyon Development Partners (GCDP), a full-service real estate development and project management firm in Las Vegas and across the United States, announced the completion of a major campus revitalization at University Medical Center of Southern Nevada (UMC), delivering exterior improvement to one of Nevada’s most essential medical institutions.
The $60 million project, built by Martin-Harris Construction, modernizes the West Charleston Boulevard campus with an upgraded façade, improved navigation, and the addition of two outdoor “healing gardens.” It aligns with UMC’s ongoing interior modernization and ensures the exterior environment now mirrors the elevated care environment and patient-first philosophy inside. Improvements include new lighting, signage, landscaping, pedestrian and vehicular circulation, updated parking access, and a new entrance off Shadow Lane that simplifies navigation and elevates the guest experience.

The completed project enhances the overall environment for patients, family members, care teams, and the thousands of people who move through the campus every week. The project broke ground in April 2023 and reached substantial completion in May 2025.
