Grand Prix Plaza, the World’s Largest Immersive F1® Attraction, Reopens in Las Vegas

February 3, 2026 By Terri Maruca

GPPLAS VEGAS  – Grand Prix Plaza, the world’s largest and most dynamic Formula 1® attraction, has officially reopened in Las Vegas. Set within the 39-acre, multi-use complex that houses the state-of-the-art Las Vegas Grand Prix Pit Building, the entertainment destination features more than 100,000 square feet of F1® attractions, including:

  • F1® X: Reimagined for 2026, the interactive Formula 1 attraction offers guests a tech-driven journey through a cutting-edge exhibition, featuring legendary artifacts, memorabilia and hands-on activations. Visitors can design their own virtual F1 car livery and virtually race on the Las Vegas Strip Circuit® from the driver’s seat in an upgraded 4D theater.
  • F1® DRIVE: This official F1 karting adventure puts guests behind the wheel on a section of the Las Vegas Strip Circuit® , racing through the actual pit lane and team garages. F1® DRIVE will debut an updated track for 2026, featuring a wider layout designed for more overtakes and competitive racing. High-performance karts, LCD steering wheel displays and F1-style ERS technology deliver the speed, sights and sounds of the sport.
  • F1® HUB: The Hub is the heart of Grand Prix Plaza and includes F1® SIMULATORS, an official Formula 1 retail store and F1® HUB Lounge, Grand Prix Plaza’s sleek dining destination serving modern American dishes and F1-inspired cocktails.
  • Private Event Spaces: Grand Prix Plaza has three Formula 1® -inspired venues for private events of all kinds: Turn 1 Lounge, Cooldown Room and the GPP Garage. Additionally, planners can opt for custom event spaces on the third level and the Rooftop.

“As Grand Prix Plaza returns for its second year, it marks another exciting chapter for Formula 1 enthusiasts in Las Vegas,” said Benjamin Larvie, General Manager of Grand Prix Plaza. “It’s a place where visitors of all ages can connect with the sport, celebrate its history and experience the speed, precision and thrill that define Formula 1. For year two, we’ve taken Grand Prix Plaza to new heights, offering returning guests new ways to engage in the sport, while giving first-time visitors an action-packed introduction to the world of racing.”

Tickets are on sale at GrandPrixPlaza.com and can also be purchased in person at Grand Prix Plaza’s box office. A look into its three attractions:

  • F1® X: A first-of-its-kind attraction, F1® X puts guests at the heart of the action, where innovation and adrenaline meet. The 20,000-square-foot space features refreshed artifacts from the Legacy of Formula 1; the chance for guests to design their own Formula 1 car and see it brought to life, and the opportunity to view the Las Vegas Strip Circuit® from the driver’s seat an all-new state-of-the-art 4D theater.
  • PIT PASS: Guests will start their F1® X adventure with an interactive Pit Pass. Each participant designs a personal driver profile and creates their own F1 team, choosing a name, colors and logo.
  • LEARN – Event Technical Center (ETC), Legacy of Formula 1 and F1 Factory:
    • The first stop of F1® X is the “ETC,” a replica of a high-tech F1 broadcast center. Attendees journey into the recreated F1 control room – a command center that broadcasts the thrill of live races across the globe. This will include surprise appearances by very special guests, brought to life with cutting-edge hologram technology
    • Fans then enter the “Legacy of Formula 1” room, executive produced by GP1X. This showcase explores the history, development and technology behind the sport’s high-stakes competition. New this year, devotees can design their own racing helmet and use an interactive avatar mirror to see themselves transform into a driver wearing a race suit. Historic racecars on display, courtesy of the Petersen Automotive Museum, include the 1987 Lotus 99T driven by Ayrton Senna, the 1994 Williams FW15D used for preseason testing by Damon Hill and Senna and the 1999 Ferrari F399 that secured Ferrari’s first World Constructors’ Championship in 16 years.
    • Next, “F1 Factory” walks visitors through the evolution of the modern Formula 1 car and the craftsmanship behind the world’s fastest racing machines. Notable replicas include a 2023 Aston Martin front wing and nose, a 2024 Williams F1 Team steering wheel, a 2024 McLaren MCL38 driven by Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri and more.
  • CREATE- Design Studio: In the Design Studio, produced in partnership with Brian Burke Creative, fans bring their F1 vision to life. Guests customize a Formula 1 car using a cutting-edge digital workshop, which includes new colors, patterns and livery this year. Their creation is then projection-mapped onto a Formula 1 car for a fun photo opportunity.
  • EXPERIENCE – Pit Stop Challenge, Pit Wall Experience, Drivers’ Briefing Room and 4D Theater:
    • At the Pit Stop Challenge, fans will step into the garage and pit lane. They will work together as an elite pit crew, using real-world tools to jack the car, change the tires and get their machine back on track in record time.
    • The Pit Wall Experience is a thrilling test of strategy and split-second decision-making. Modeled after a Grand Prix pit wall, it places guests in the role of an F1 race strategist, using real-time race communications from team engineers and drivers to make critical calls.
    • In the Driver Briefing Room, guests explore the intense focus and athleticism required to become an F1 legend while waiting to step into the driver’s seat. Then it’s off to the newly updated 4D Theater, powered by Liminal Space’s proprietary Ghost Tile stereoscopic LED technology. The theater surrounds guests with holographic visuals that appear to hover and move through the air in real time. Paired with atmospheric surround sound, motion seats and special effects by MediaMation Entertainment, it puts fans right in the heart of a Formula 1 race.
    • The journey continues  at the Cool Down Room and Podium Photo Ops, where guests can celebrate their victory with a team-branded photos and a podium moment.
    • Livery Reveal Finale: Fans enter the final room of the F1® X experience and unveil their livery creation, where their unique design is projected onto a Formula 1 car for fun photo moment.

Adult tickets are $59. Military, children (Ages 2-12) and locals are $49.

  • F1® DRIVE: The first and only F1® DRIVE in North America, this high-speed karting adventure puts guests behind the wheel on part of the Las Vegas Strip Circuit® – marking the first time a karting attraction has operated on part of a Formula 1 track. Drivers can take on 1,470 feet of track with 22 turns in bespoke F1-inspired karts reaching speeds of up to 30 miles per hour. Equipped with Overtake Mode, Energy Reduction System (ERS), LCD steering wheel displays and authentic engine sounds, F1® DRIVE brings the thrill of racing to life.
  • THE KARTS: Each F1® DRIVE kart features an advanced LCD steering wheel display offering real-time data like lap times, interval gaps, boost levels and flag alerts. Drivers hear authentic engine sounds recorded from the 2023 Formula 1 season and receive live radio communications from a virtual Race Engineer inside their helmets, providing track updates, Overtake Mode and ERS cues, fast lap tips and overtaking strategies.
  • THE TRACK: Spanning indoor and outdoor sections, the massive course features turns that professional drivers navigate including a hairpin, chicane, double apex, constant radius and a technical segment. Track kerbs are adorned with playing card suits – a nod to the kerbs on the Las Vegas Strip Circuit® . With the new layout, guests in the lobby can now watch the grid in action, adding a thrilling element for spectators as racers take on the track.
  • PACKAGES: F1® DRIVE offers the following packages:
