LAS VEGAS – Yesterday, Green Our Planet hosted its 12th annual Fall Giant Student Farmers Market at the Clark County Government Center. This year’s market featured over 300 students from 30 CCSD schools selling an array of student grown produce and handmade crafts. The student ‘Farmpreneurs’ raised a total of nearly $12,750 this year to be returned to their school garden and hydroponics programs.
Hosted in partnership with Commissioner Marilyn Kirkpatrick, a leading sponsor of the event, the Fall 2025 Giant Student Farmers Market welcomed hundreds of community members to celebrate student success. In addition, the market featured a show car at the market entrance from supporting sponsor, Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix, as well as a photobooth for students and guests, presented by Cox Communications, an additional sponsor of the market. Guests were also able to enjoy family-friendly moments with a delightful appearance from Spruce, the Las Vegas Aviators mascot.

Since launching in 2013, Green Our Planet has transformed the educational landscape for both students and teachers across the country. With plans to expand its initiatives in 2026, Green Our Planet equips teachers with a curriculum that provides students with a high-quality education that teaches STEM, financial literacy, conservationism and business development skills through a hands-on learning approach. Students were able to utilize the skills learned as they embraced their roles as ‘Farmpreneurs’, furthering Green Our Planet’s mission and bringing together the Las Vegas community to encourage sustainable living and student achievement.
Additional support from sponsors including Aristocrat, Bank of Nevada, Clark County School District, Nevada State Bank, LabCorp, Wells Fargo and U.S. Bank helped make the market even more memorable. The market is also grateful to have received a generous contribution from The Garden Foundation, as the organization provided staff with delicious breakfast options from Dig It! Coffee Co., a local coffee shop that provides job training and mentorship for adults with disabilities.
