Ky-Mani Marley to Kick-off the Summer-long Series on Friday, June 14
RENO, Nev. – Get ready to groove all summer long at the Grand Sierra Resort (GSR) with the launch of Friday Night Reggae at The Pool. Starting June 14, every Friday night will be filled with the rhythmic sounds of reggae music, delicious island-inspired cuisine and an unforgettable poolside experience.
To kick off the series in style, Grammy Award-nominated artist and son of legendary reggae musician Bob Marley, Ky-Mani Marley, will perform at The Pool at GSR on Friday, June 14, 2024, at 8 p.m. Tickets are on sale now and start at $25.

Ky-Mani Marley made his debut with the 2016 album “Golden Days,” featuring the hit single “Sunset Dreams,” and quickly became known for his soulful voice and evocative lyrics. His second album, “Island Vibes” (2018), produced hits like “Tropical Nights” and “Love Waves,” and earned him a Grammy Award nomination for Best Reggae Album. In 2021, Marley’s third album, “Echoes of Freedom,” included collaborations with Ziggy Marley and Shaggy, with the standout track “Rise Up” becoming a global anthem of resilience. His latest album, “Ocean of Dreams” (2023), has been celebrated for its lyrical depth and musical versatility, further establishing his evolution as an artist.
Every month, Friday Night Reggae at The Pool will feature a major headliner, with Ky-Mani Marley leading the charge. On headliner nights, tickets are $25 per person, while other nights are just $10 per person, making it an accessible and exciting way to enjoy top-tier reggae music.
