RENO/LAS VEGAS, Nev. – Hammer & Nails, the revolutionary grooming concept for men redefining self-care, is expanding its footprint in Nevada with the brand’s first Southern Nevada location, set to open in Summerlin by year-end. The new shop will mark Hammer & Nails’ third location in the state, with eight more on the horizon as part of the franchise’s rapid expansion.
The men’s grooming sector is experiencing unprecedented growth, driven by evolving attitudes toward self-care and an increased demand for premium, experience-driven services. The U.S. men’s grooming market, valued at approximately $47 billion to $49 billion in 2023, is projected to nearly double to $97.4 billion by 2032. Globally, the industry is expected to surpass $115 billion by 2028, underscoring the rising consumer preference for high-quality grooming experiences that extend beyond a simple haircut.
Owned by franchisees Dr. Reed Dopf and Jacob Bush, the Las Vegas location will introduce Hammer & Nails’ elevated, membership-driven grooming experience to the region, offering premium barbering services, facial treatments, and men’s manicures and pedicures in a relaxed, upscale environment. Though based in Reno, both have deep ties to Southern Nevada. Bush, a Senior Application Analyst at Renown Health and owner of Club Z! In-Home Tutoring Services, grew up in Las Vegas and still has family there. Dr. Dopf, a board-certified physician in Internal Medicine, Geriatric Medicine, and Hospice and Palliative Medicine, attended the University of Nevada School of Medicine in Las Vegas after growing up in Northern Nevada.
“For us, this is more than just expanding a business—it’s about bringing something special to a community we both care deeply about,” said Dr. Dopf. “Jacob and I may be based in Reno, but Las Vegas has always been a big part of our lives, and we’re excited to introduce Hammer & Nails to the city.”
Diaz Dixon, the Hammer & Nails Area Representative for Nevada and Idaho and owner of the South Reno location, is also a Las Vegas native. With a background in leadership and nonprofit work, Dixon is passionate about the transformative impact of high-quality, wellness-driven grooming experiences on men’s confidence and mental well-being.
“At Hammer & Nails, it’s about more than just haircuts and grooming; it’s a vibe—a mental boost we all need,” said Dixon. “Bringing this experience to Las Vegas is a full-circle moment for me, and I look forward to seeing how it resonates in my hometown.”
That emphasis on self-care is at the core of an evolving industry. Today’s consumers increasingly prioritize relaxation, self-investment, and holistic well-being, fueling demand for full-service grooming destinations that provide more than just a haircut. The rise of dedicated men’s spas and membership-based barbershops, like Hammer & Nails, reflects a broader “experience” trend—where grooming is positioned as a lifestyle and relaxation activity, not just a necessity.
Hammer & Nails sets itself apart by offering an upscale, membership-based environment featuring oversized leather chairs, noise-canceling headphones, complimentary beverages, and big-screen TVs at every station. Guests can unwind while receiving expert grooming services in a setting designed exclusively for them, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to providing an unparalleled self-care experience.
“With 46 locations open nationwide and a goal of reaching 70 by the end of 2025, Hammer & Nails is redefining men’s grooming,” said Klaus Grimm, Hammer & Nails franchisor. “Nevada has proven to be a strong market for our brand and expanding into Las Vegas is a key milestone as we continue our momentum.”
Hammer & Nails’ expansion into Las Vegas aligns with broader industry trends, as men’s spending on grooming services and personalized self-care continues to rise. With franchise growth accelerating nationwide, Hammer & Nails remains at the forefront of this booming market.
