Helix Electric of Nevada, the largest merit shop electrical contractor in Nevada, is pleased to announce the success of their annual charity golf tournament—where $24,000 was raised to benefit local charities. The golf tournament was held on Saturday, July 9, at the Lakeridge Golf Club and united local businesses and Helix employees in support of three local community organizations.
“We are pleased at the success of our charity golf tournament in Reno this year,” said Victor Fuchs, president of Helix Electric of Nevada. “We were able to raise a total of $24,000 which was donated to three local non-profits. Each charity was handpicked by our Reno staff, and we are pleased to have contributed to their causes. We look forward to next year’s tournament and the opportunity for us to continue to show Helix’s commitment to the Reno community.”
The proceeds from the tournament were distributed evenly between the three non-profits with $8,000 going to each one. The three local charities for this year’s tournament were Reno Ice, Nevada Humane Society, and Washoe CASA Foundation.
