This month, HELP of Southern Nevada hosted its Framing Hope Warehouse Product Walk, providing local nonprofit organizations with access to essential home improvement supplies at a reduced cost.
Lowe’s Home Improvement donated a total of 11 trailers of materials to HELP’s Framing Hope Warehouse, with support from Good360 facilitating the Lowe’s shipments. The organization also received additional support from The Home Depot, which donated 24 trailers directly to HELP.
Over the course of three days, more than 70 pre-vetted nonprofit organizations participated in the Product Walk, including Goodie Two Shoes, Southwest Veterans Services and Wendy’s Rescue. Attendees were able to shop the warehouse floor for supplies to support their clients and operations, paying a highly discounted administrative fee.
“The Product Walk is a powerful example of how partnerships and community support can directly impact the organizations serving our most vulnerable populations,” said Abby Quinn, chief community relations officer of HELP of Southern Nevada. “By providing access to essential goods at a significantly reduced cost, we’re helping our nonprofit partners stretch their resources further and focus on delivering meaningful services where they’re needed most.”
Funds generated from the event will help address critical needs across HELP’s programs, including Adult Housing Programs, Behavioral Health Services, Family Housing Services and Homeless Response Teams.
HELP of Southern Nevada’s Framing Hope Warehouse is open for ‘Shopping Days’ on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. Nonprofit organizations with proper documentation can still sign up to shop. Interested entities can email nzamora@helpsonv.org for more information.
