Las Vegas (Sept. 18, 2024) – HELP of Southern Nevada has been designated as a charitable recipient for Walgreens’ scannable program, Sept. 19 – 30.This ongoing campaign encourages in-store shoppers to make donations of $1 or more to further the nonprofit’s mission of facilitating connections for families and individuals with vital services, training, and referrals, ultimately enabling them to attain self-sufficiency.
The Give-at-Checkout initiative is set to operate across all Walgreens stores in Southern Nevada. With the generous backing of our local community, all contributions gathered will be dedicated to aiding the most vulnerable residents of Las Vegas, who are seeking assistance from HELP’s various programs, such as the Homeless Response Teams, Family Housing Services, Shannon West Homeless Youth Center and more. The amount raised will be revealed at the 98.5 KLUC’s Chet Buchanan Morning Show Toy Drive in December.
As HELP of Southern Nevada gears up for a busy holiday season of giving, the nonprofit is grateful for the continued generosity and support from local community and major partners like Walgreens. The assistance of Walgreen’s scannable program facilitates HELP’S mission to prevent and end homelessness, one individual, one family and one youth at a time.
