Henderson International School, a diverse private school serving preschool through 8th grade students across Henderson and Las Vegas, is proud to announce Nicole Donadio as the school’s new Middle School Principal, bringing more than 25 years of experience in education, school leadership and culture-building. Donadio will oversee students and teachers for grades 6, 7 and 8.
Donadio joins Henderson International School after more than 25 years with Clark County School District, the fifth-largest school district in the nation. Most recently Donadio was Principal at Bob Miller Middle School in Henderson where she led a high-performing school community focused on both academic excellence and social-emotional growth for more than 12 years.
“Nicole’s experience leading high-performing schools is a tremendous asset to Henderson International School as we strive to provide the best educational experience focused on educating the whole child.,” said Dr. Carmen Benedict, lower school principal at Henderson International Scholl. “We are confident in her ability to propel our middle school forward and create an environment that fosters a lifelong love of learning.”
Prior to that role, Donadio served as principal of John A. Dooley Elementary School in Henderson from 2005 to 2011, where she was known for maintaining an outstanding school climate and culture. She successfully branded the school to increase student enrollment and ensure staffing stability year over year. Earlier in her career, she served as assistant principal at C.T. Sewell Elementary School and Doris French Elementary School, and as a classroom teacher at multiple Henderson schools, where she earned recognition as CCSD New Teacher of the Year in 1998–1999.
Donadio holds a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
