Las Vegas brokerage hosts charitable events in partnership with Southern Nevada 501(c)3 charitable organizations
Leading Las Vegas brokerage huntington & ellis, A Real Estate Agency raised over $13,000 throughout the month of September to support those battling cancer. As part of its ongoing annual community service initiative, the brokerage held a happy hour event at Frankie’s Uptown and Putt-Putt Golf Tournament at Angel Park Golf Club in partnership with Kindness Conquers and answer4cancer, two Southern Nevada 501(c)3 charitable organizations, to raise money for the cause.
“As cancer currently ranks as the second leading cause of death, second to heart disease, this is a cause our team is deeply passionate about,” said Craig Tann, broker and owner of huntington & ellis. “We collectively decided to dedicate the entire month of September to raising funds that can make real change and provide hope and support for those in need.”
The brokerage’s Happy Hour event raised $5,000.43 with a company match of $5,000, for a grand total of $10,000.43. All of the proceeds went directly to answer4cancer’s mission to enhance the care and improve the quality of life for individuals facing cancer.
The subsequent Putt-Putt Golf Tournament hosted at Angel Park Golf Club raised $1,881 with a company match of $1,881, totaling $3,762. All funds raised went toward Kindness Conquers’ mission of improving and supporting the emotional well-being of children suffering from cancer.
The brokerage is on track to meet its year-long goal of contributing $75,000 to the local community through its charitable giving program.
“Surpassing $13,000 in a single month sets a new record for us. It’s fulfilling to contribute to such a meaningful cause,” said Tann. “At our brokerage, our mission extends beyond client service; it’s about our commitment to the local community and giving back to those in need.”
huntington & ellis holds monthly charitable events to benefit philanthropies across the valley. Last year, the brokerage raised over $50,000, supporting the Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth (NPHY), Three Square Food Bank, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southern Nevada and Share the Joy in partnership with St. Jude’s Ranch for Children.
