LAS VEGAS– Jewish Nevada is calling for donors to make an impact on opportunities for Jewish people in Nevada, Israel and around the World. Jewish Nevada’s summer fundraising push kicks off Sunday, August 6, and goes through Tuesday, August 8, for Southern Nevada. Northern Nevada’s effort will take place on Monday, August 7.
The “Summer Campaign,” over the course of three days in Las Vegas, will involve a total of 3,000 phone calls being made within the community to ask for donations. Funds donated will support Jewish Nevada’s Annual Campaign in their mission of creating a vibrant community and caring for those in need. Through these efforts they are able to support the over 70 agencies and isntitutions that make Jewish life possible This includes everything from youth and family programs, Summer Camp & Day School Scholarships, senior and Holocaust survivor support, and so much more.
“Donations impact every single generation of Jewish people in our state,” said Jewish Nevada President and CEO Stefanie Tuzman. “From the youngest kids at Jewish day school to college students and to the oldest members in our community, all the donations raised during our Summer Campaign help Jewish Nevada provide a brighter future for many.”
