NeJewish Nevada, a non-profit organization that serves as the representative organization for the more than 70,000 Jews in Nevada, announced today that Claire Brunhild has been hired as associate director of Jewish Student Life at Hillel Las Vegas.
“Claire brings a wealth of expertise in youth education and community building,” said Jewish Nevada President and CEO Stefanie Tuzman. “Her dedication to fostering a strong sense of community, along with her genuine enthusiasm and passion for Jewish life, will be invaluable assets to the organization and the local community.”
Brunhild joins Jewish Nevada with more than two decades of experience as an educator. In her previous roles as youth director and assistant director of education for Reform Congregation, she successfully designed and implemented numerous engaging and inclusive programs, exceeding participation goals and fostering strong community bonds. Prior to that, she served as an international guide with Onward Israel, assisting young American professionals by planning a six-week trip with personal, cultural and educational development components.
Brunhild attended the University of South Florida where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminology and a Master of Arts in Criminal Justice Administration. She also received a graduate certificate in Israel Education from George Washington University and the iCenter School.
