Jewish Nevada is calling on community members to volunteer for its annual ‘Super Sunday’ fundraising event on Sunday, August 23.
Super Sunday is the organization’s biggest fundraising event of the year. It brings together volunteers and community members from across Southern Nevada to connect with fellow supporters and friends through thank-you calls and donor outreach. The money raised will allow Jewish Nevada to continue supporting community organizations, those in need throughout the valley, educational opportunities and critical programs that strengthen Jewish life in Nevada, Israel and communities around the world.
With a goal of $100,000, this year’s event includes a friendly competition between the East Side (Midbar Kodesh Temple) and the West Side (Temple Sinai). Two volunteer shifts are available at each location.
“Super Sunday is about more than raising funds. It’s about bringing our community together,” said Stefanie Tuzman, President and CEO of Jewish Nevada. “Every phone call, every conversation and every volunteer helps ensure Jewish Nevada can continue serving our community while building a stronger future for generations to come.”
