JFSA Las Vegas is offering free online mental health questionnaires to assess personal well-being as a part of its May “Buy a Daisy” fundraising campaign. The quick and easy questionnaires explore four areas: Overall mental health, anxiety, perceived stress, and PTSD. They can be accessed on the “Buy a Daisy” donation page. The page also has contact information for questions participants may have about the survey or any mental health-related subject.
The “Buy a Daisy” campaign supports JFSA’s commitment to supporting the mental well-being of disadvantaged populations in Southern Nevada. JFSA offers free or low-cost counseling services. Last year, the program served 880 individuals and families and is well on its way to serving more than 1,000 in 2024. Started last summer, JFSA’s breast cancer support program, also under the behavioral services division, now serves more than 40 local breast cancer patients with counseling and other services. The behavioral health division also provides child learning assessments through its Center for Assessment and Educational Services (CAES) and caregiving management resources for elders.
With the “Buy a Daisy” campaign, donors can purchase a virtual daisy and send an uplifting message to a friend or family member. They can also share their message on social media.
