LAS VEGAS – Rich Wierzbowski, vice president of operations for Diversified Restaurant Group (DRG), has joined the board of directors for Junior Achievement of Southern Nevada (JASN). The nonprofit organization provides K-12 students with the knowledge and skills they need to own their economic success, plan for their future, and make smart academic and economic choices.
Responsible for the operations of 78 DRG Taco Bell restaurants in Nevada, Wierzbowski’s management, mentoring leadership development and problem-solving abilities will benefit JASN’s commitment to empowering youth through financial literacy, workforce readiness and entrepreneurship education.
“I believe in Junior Achievement’s mission and want to make a positive impact on young people’s lives, so they’re better prepared for the future,” said Wierzbowski. “By joining the Junior Achievement board, I will be able to more actively support and promote this initiative.”
