
Jan. 29, 2025 (RENO, Nev.) – KPS3, a full-service marketing and communications firm, has promoted Nicole Shearer, APR to associate vice president of public relations.
Shearer’s mission is to leverage 33 years of Public Relations success at the agency into a national force, elevating the impact of PR for KPS3’s clients. She and her team will continue to lead best-in-class initiatives that complete its full-service marketing offerings across a diverse set of industries.

Shearer joined KPS3 in 2021 where she served in a senior director role, managing all facets of public relations and communications research, strategy, implementation and evaluation for clients.
Before joining the KPS3 team, Shearer spent eight years at the University of Nevada, Reno helping advance strategic priorities through communications initiatives in support of The College of Business, Student Services and University Police Services. Before her time at the University, Shearer honed her communications skills at Renown Health and Switchback PR + Marketing, Inc. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Nevada, Reno.
