May 21, 2025 (RENO, Nev.) – KPS3, a full-service marketing and communications firm, has promoted Shayna Gaedtke to director of human resources.
Her mission is to foster an environment of growth, support and accountability, ensuring that all team members feel valued and empowered to contribute to making KPS3 one of the best places to work in northern Nevada. She will lead people-first employment practices that reflect the agency’s “Human. On Purpose.” values.
“Success in HR means creating a culture where talent thrives, where every team member has a clear path forward and is excited to take it,” said Bob Whitefield, chief revenue officer at KPS3. “Shayna is shaping that path by rallying the team around a shared purpose. Her contributions continue to reinforce that KPS3 is a place where people do their best work on behalf of our clients.”
Gaedtke partners with agency managers on hiring, onboarding and offboarding, and oversees employee growth, satisfaction and benefits. She serves as point person for the agency’s one-of-a-kind Externship program, a full-day immersion into agency life for students and professionals who envision their careers in marketing and communications.
Gaedtke joined KPS3 in 2021 where she held roles as human resources specialist and human resources manager. Prior to joining the agency, she earned her stripes in the fast-paced HR departments at Atlantis Casino Resort Spa and John Ascuaga’s Nugget where she juggled a number of responsibilities such as applicant interviews, recruiting, onboarding and employee benefits. Gaedtke holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in human resources from the University of Nevada, Reno.
KPS3 has developed long-standing relationships with both clients and employees, earning a spot amongst northern Nevada’s Best Places to Work as a nine-time finalist. For more information about working with KPS3 as a client or an employee, please visit kps3.com.
