Kristin Blas recently completed her two-year provisional community association manager training and became a fully licensed CAM with CAMCO Nevada.
In her new role, Blas will oversee communities for one of Nevada’s largest community association management companies.
“Kristin has been a go-getter since joining CAMCO as an administrative assistant in 2021,” said Lucille Sanchez, CAMCO’s senior association services director and Blas’ supervisor. “She quickly fell in love with the industry and transitioned into a manager role in 2023.”
Blas has consistently taken initiative and is always willing to help.
“Her boards appreciate her upbeat personality and strong commitment,” Sanchez added. “Kristin remains eager to learn and contribute wherever she’s needed, and we’re excited to see her continue to excel as a full community manager.”
Blas said, “When I started my journey into becoming a CAM it was a little difficult for me. Schooling was not my strong point and going through the classes and training to become a full CAM was a fulfilling accomplishment. Switching careers after 15 years and finding a career that I have become passionate about has been amazing. I hope to further my career in this industry and continue to move forward.” She added that her job has opened a door into community management. “I work with amazing people who help me if I do not know an answer to a question. I have amazing Board members I have connected with on a personal level, which is an important part of being a community manager. We are here to help our Board members and their communities to be the best they can be. I like being a part of the solution. I cannot see myself doing anything else.”
