Spend Nevada Day weekend at Lake Las Vegas with the community’s annual Halloween Golf Cart Parade and carnival Oct. 25 and an exclusive performance of the Henderson Symphony Orchestra with Italian Opera Singer Pasquale Esposito Oct. 26. Both events will be held at The Village at Lake Las Vegas.
Halloween festivities will kick off the weekend on Friday, Oct. 25, from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. at The Village. Families can enjoy a variety of activities including a trunk-or-treat, carnival games, live entertainment, blow up obstacle course, giveaways and music. The highlight of the evening is the popular golf cart parade, which starts at 6 p.m. Guests are encouraged to come dressed in costumes to win prizes.
Lake Las Vegas developer Raintree, along with its non-profit partner Inspiring Children, will join the fun at the golf cart parade, cruising alongside decked-out carts from Lake Las Vegas homebuilders including Taylor Morrison, Toll Brothers, Pulte, Blue Heron, Richmond Homes and Lennar.
“This is one of our favorite annual events that brings the community together while supporting the Inspiring Children’s Foundation,” said Patrick Parker, president of Raintree, developer of Lake Las Vegas. “It’s a fun place to give back and celebrate the start of the holiday season with friends and family.”
On Saturday, Oct. 26, the celebration continues with a special live performance by Italian Pop Opera Singer Pasquale Esposito, accompanied by the Henderson Symphony Orchestra. Esposito is visiting Lake Las Vegas to celebrate Luna Rossa’s 20th anniversary. Luna Rossa is a famed Italian eatery and was one of the first businesses in the Village.
The concert will take place from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Guests are encouraged to dine at Luna Rossa and other Lake Las Vegas establishments to enjoy an evening of Italian cuisine and live music. Lakeside seating for the concert is available with reservations. Reservations can be made here.
“For those who enjoy romantic and classical music, there is no better way to spend an evening by the water than listening to the Henderson Symphony under the stars. It is a rare opportunity to experience the talents of Pasquale Esposito and the Symphony while celebrating Luna Rossa.”
