Fatal traffic crashes take a big leap in Clark County in 2024.
Las Vegas- Since mid-April 2024, traffic-related crashes have claimed 97 lives throughout the state of Nevada, a nearly 40% increase from the previous year. Out of the total, 37 fatalities involve pedestrians.
- 12 of the fatalities involved individuals not using their seatbelts.
David Kohlmeier, also known as “The Problem Solver” from his popular podcast, is also the founder of the Las Vegas Legal Network. Kohlmeier is offering to help the many victims of car accidents by providing years of experience connecting victims with attorneys and legal services across Las Vegas.
Building the legal network has allowed Kohlmeier to keep a strong database of information on various lawyers in the Valley. Whether a victim is looking for an affordable attorney to help support a criminal case, or needs support with a family court case, he offers to connect victims to the right professionals that will serve them best. Besides offering services to find proper legal counsel, Kohlmeier gives away free first aid kits, wheelchairs to injury victims and free traffic ticket representation.
With the ever growing problem of dangerous and fatal car accidents in Las Vegas, drivers need to be given the correct information on what to do if they are in that situation to protect their rights.
“Determining fault in a car accident often involves assessing whether there is paint transfer between the vehicles involved, making it crucial to gather this evidence. Urgently seeking legal help is essential following a fatal accident on the 215 freeway, whether it occurred yesterday or today, to navigate the complexities of wrongful death claims ” states Kohlmeier.
As a former NYPD officer and retired Henderson Police officer, Kohlmeirer uses his years of experience to help guide residents free of charge. Often speaking about the car accident numbers rising in Las Vegas on his podcast “The Problem Solver”, Kohlmeier feels the need to extend his acumen and experience to the people who have been victimized by both negligent and drunk drivers.
“By forming the Las Vegas Legal Network, there is now a place for residents to turn to, unbiased, free of charge to gather the help that is not offered to them at the scene of an accident.” says Kohlmeier.
