In honor of June 23 National Hydration Day, the Las Vegas Rescue Mission is asking the community to keep vulnerable members of our community who are experiencing homelessness in mind. As temperatures are set to climb to triple digits next week, the Rescue Mission is accepting bottled water donations from the community beginning June 23 and throughout the summer. As one of the designated hydration stations in the homeless corridor, the Rescue Mission representatives expect there to be a high demand.
Those who would like to help can deliver their bottled water donations to the security gate at the Las Vegas Rescue Mission any day of the week, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. For larger donations, such as pallets of water, or to organize a drive on the Mission’s behalf, please contact Heather Williams, director of development for the Las Vegas Rescue Mission, at 702-320-2089.
