Mission to provide counseling, family support and faith-based services as part of Southern Nevada’s transformational approach to addressing homelessness
LAS VEGAS (July 23, 2026) — The Las Vegas Rescue Mission has been selected as one of 27 community organizations that will provide on-site services at the future Campus for Hope, a transformational housing campus that brings together housing and comprehensive supportive services through coordinated community partnerships to help individuals and families experiencing homelessness achieve long-term stability and self-sufficiency.
For more than 55 years, the Las Vegas Rescue Mission has served men, women and children experiencing homelessness by providing shelter, meals, recovery programs and resources that help individuals achieve long-term stability. Through its partnership with Campus for Hope, the Rescue Mission will expand on this by delivering critical behavioral health, family support and spiritual care services on-site when the campus opens.

At Campus for Hope, the Rescue Mission will provide:
- Counseling services, including assessments, individual therapy and group therapy for individuals experiencing co-occurring mental health, substance use or gambling addiction challenges.
- Family prevention services through evidence-based programs including Active Parenting 4th Edition, Teens in Action and Rainbow Days, which help strengthen family relationships, encourage positive youth development and foster healthy connections to family, school and the community.
- Spiritual care through pastoral and chaplain services available in both individual and group settings for those seeking faith-based support.

The $200 million Campus for Hope is a public-private partnership that will create a comprehensive campus focused on addressing the root causes of homelessness through temporary housing, behavioral health services, workforce development and other supportive programs. Expected to open in 2028, the campus will provide approximately 900 beds and a coordinated network of services under one roof.

The Las Vegas Rescue Mission has been assisting homeless men, women and children in the community for 50 years. Since our beginning in 1970, the Rescue Mission has been providing meals, emergency shelter, recovery programs with addiction counseling and encouragement to help the low-income and homeless in our community. The nonprofit started with a small storefront building that included the chapel, kitchen and shelter which was able to house a few men.
