Las Vegas – The Las Vegas Women’s Marketing Collective (LVWMC), a curated leadership community for women shaping the future of marketing and communications in Las Vegas, announced its partnership with UNLV Lee Business School for a forthcoming talent exchange event, and is calling on local employers to participate. This speed-networking event will allow high-potential marketing and public relations students to connect with local Las Vegas businesses to mingle, network, and more.
Titled The Las Vegas Women’s Marketing Collective x UNLV Talent Exchange, the event will take place at The Collective on April 16 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. The LVWMC is looking for local Las Vegas businesses who are seeking to build a future hiring pipeline.
“This is an excellent opportunity for local businesses to meet candidates for summer interns, entry-level hires, and marketing talent in Las Vegas,” said Paula Yakubik, founder of the women’s collective. She continued, “Having the ability to create spaces for the brightest minds in the valley is a blessing, and we are more than thrilled to provide this opportunity for both students and local established companies.”
The event will allow students to practice their professional introductions, build real relationships with decision-makers, get face time with hiring managers, and expand their professional network. Participating employers will meet with students and ask questions about their studies, answer questions about their field and current job responsibilities, and create connections that continue outside of the event.
The Las Vegas Women’s Marketing Collective recently hosted Creator Collabs That Convert, a panel event that focused on how brand-creator partnerships drive awareness and consideration with long-term impact. Panelists included Alex Acuna, Vice President of Public Relations & Digital at Station Casinos, content creator Heather Collins, Bri Yackel, Senior Director at Influential, Matt Korn, Executive Director of Social Media at MGM Resorts International, among other high-profile speakers.
