CAMCO Nevada promoted Lucille Sanchez to Vice President of Association Services.
She had been Director of Portfolio Association Services at CAMCO, one of the state’s largest HOA management companies. In her previous role, Sanchez oversaw, mentored and coached five community managers of various experience levels and 15 administrative team members.
Sanchez had been a community association manager before taking her Portfolio Association Services directorship.
“Since joining CAMCO, Lucille has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership,” CAMCO President David Swenson said. “As Senior Director, she oversaw a growing portfolio of communities, strengthened board relationships, mentored employees, and played a pivotal role in maintaining the company’s outstanding client retention record.”
After gaining experience in banking and retail, Sanchez began her HOA management career with CAMCO in its developer division. The company’s commitment to education and employee advancement helped her to gain experience and effectively transition and succeed in CAMCO’s portfolio division. As a director, she trained and guided team members to foster their professional growth while ensuring their work met all legal guidelines.
“Community management is about trust, relationships, and delivering consistent excellence,” Swenson said. “Lucille has embodied those principles throughout her time at CAMCO. Her promotion to Vice President recognizes not only her results, but her dedication to serving boards, homeowners and team members with professionalism and heart.’
Sanchez said relationship building, diligence and willingness to learn have fueled her success.
“I’ve always tried to stay fully engaged in the work, learn as much as possible from every situation, and support the people around me, both my team and the communities we serve,” she said. “I also had faith in myself and stayed focused on growing, even when the job was challenging.”
Sanchez also said she’s been glad for chances to grow.
“Having leadership that recognizes potential and is willing to invest in its people makes a big difference,” she said. “Being trusted with more responsibility and having my voice heard has motivated me to continue learning, improving, and contributing to the success of the team and the communities we serve.”
