LAS VEGAS, NEV (Sept. 3, 2025) — Summerlin®, a Howard Hughes community, today announced that Google Fiber (GFiber) has signed a lease at Meridian, Summerlin’s newest Class A office campus located at 1 Meridian Vista Drive. The Meridian office space will serve as GFiber’s home for the southwest submarket, with occupancy beginning in Spring 2026.
“Las Vegas is experiencing unprecedented growth, and GFiber is thrilled to establish our new Summerlin office and be a part of the city’s ever-more connected future,” said Ashley Church, GFiber West Region General Manager. “Las Vegas deserves internet infrastructure that can keep pace with its ambitions. We’re not just connecting homes and businesses—we’re supporting Las Vegas in its next chapter as a major tech hub and destination for residents and innovative companies seeking world-class connectivity.”
Meridian is a three-story 147,602-square-foot office building featuring customizable floorplates, ample parking with EV charging stations, and high visibility from the 215-Beltway. Located within minutes from Downtown Summerlin and key retail and neighborhood services, Meridian offers convenient access to the I-15 and Summerlin Parkway interchanges. Recently awarded LEED Silver certification by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), Meridian is Howard Hughes’ tenth USGBC-certified building in Summerlin, providing a flexible, innovative campus environment designed to support growth. GFiber’s new office space is located on the first floor of the east side of the building.
“Meridian provides an ideal environment for companies like GFiber, combining a strategic southwest submarket location with convenient access to major thoroughfares and proximity to Summerlin’s high-value workforce,” said Charles Van Geel, Senior Director, Cushman & Wakefield, who oversees leasing for Howard Hughes’ office portfolio in Summerlin. “Meridian’s proximity to Downtown Summerlin—a regional destination that is home to over 125 retail brands and restaurants, major sports venues, Class A office buildings, and a growing number of luxury apartment communities—as well as other outdoor amenities including nearby parks, trails, golf courses, and the Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area, uplift the employee experience and create an attractive place to do business for clients and patrons.”
