Metcalf Builders, an award-winning regional general contractor based in Northern Nevada, is proud to announce the groundbreaking of a significant expansion to AVK’s campus in Minden, Nevada. This 26-acre development marks a transformative milestone in AVK’s long-term growth strategy and reflects a continued commitment to investing in U.S.-based manufacturing.The expansion will add a total of 208,000 square feet across three new state-of-the-art facilities:
- AVK Advanced Castings — 126,000 square feet
- AVK Elastomer — 41,000 square feet
- AVK Orbinox — 41,000 square feet
Together, these facilities will dramatically increase AVK’s production capacity, technological capabilities and supply chain resilience across multiple product categories. From precision-cast components to elastomeric materials and critical valve technologies, this expansion positions AVK to meet the growing demand for American-made infrastructure and industrial products.
