Metcalf Builders, a leading commercial general contractor headquartered in Northern Nevada, announced the addition of two senior leaders to its executive team: Jack Brown as Director of Operations and Jonathan Cardenas as Director of Finance and Accounting.
Brown brings more than 39 years of construction industry experience to Metcalf Builders. As Director of Operations, he will oversee companywide operations, lead project teams and support the firm’s continued growth across commercial, industrial and multi-family markets throughout the Western United States.
Prior to joining Metcalf, Brown served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Rimrock Construction. He also held senior executive roles at EMJ Corporation, CBG Building Company and Balfour Beatty US, where he led large-scale mixed-use and commercial projects nationwide.
Cardenas joins Metcalf Builders as Director of Finance and Accounting, bringing more than 10 years of accounting and financial leadership experience. In his role, he will oversee financial operations, accounting systems, internal controls and strategic financial planning to support the company’s long-term growth.
A graduate of the University of Nevada, Reno with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management, Cardenas began his accounting career at Metcalf Builders, where he served as Senior Accountant for four years before advancing to a Controller position with a regional paving company.
