Metcalf Builders has officially broken ground on Prospector Apartments, a new multi-family affordable housing community that will transform the former Community Assistance Center site into 136 modern residential units in the heart of downtown Reno.Located at 314 Evans Ave., the $32.8 million new construction project will span approximately 149,330 square feet and is being developed by Ulysses Development Group, with architectural design led by Kephart and Vida Designs.

Construction began in January 2026 and is anticipated to reach completion in December 2027.
