Metcalf Builders, an award-winning general contractor specializing in commercial construction, announced today the completion of Ruby’s Shake Shop, a fast-casual restaurant designed for take-out convenience. Located at 1703 N. Virginia St., directly across from the University of Nevada, Reno, the newly built eatery is set to become a go-to spot for students, faculty, and residents.The 2,300-square-foot restaurant, built on a 3,659-square-foot lot, was constructed from the ground up, featuring a masonry structure with wood trusses, a modern glass storefront, and a distinctive exterior of a brick facade, stucco, and metal wall panels. The $2.4 million project marks the first Ruby’s Shake Shop location in Northern Nevada.

The newly built restaurant will host its grand opening and begin welcoming customers on March 6th.
