LAS VEGAS – NAIOP Southern Nevada, an organization representing commercial real estate developers, owners and related professionals in office, industrial, retail and mixed-use real estate, is holding a Thanksgiving meal drive for the students and families of Walter V. Long Elementary School.
This year, NAIOP Southern Nevada is dedicated to providing a complete Thanksgiving meal and 30 days of groceries to 40 deserving families in Southern Nevada. The organization is calling on its members and partners to support this important initiative.
The Thanksgiving meal drive will run through Nov. 14. Donations of food items include a grocery list and can be dropped off at Minero General Contractor at 8680 Spring Mountain Road, Las Vegas, from Nov. 12 to 14 between 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
“NAIOP Southern Nevada is deeply committed to giving back to our community,” said Cassie Catania-Hsu, 2024 president of NAIOP Southern Nevada. “This Thanksgiving meal drive is a small way for us to make a big difference in the lives of the students and families at Walter V. Long Elementary School.”
Walter V. Long Elementary School serves about 800 students who come from low-income families. The school provides a vital lifeline for these children, offering not only an education but also support with basic needs like food and clothing.
