August 13, 2025 – RENO, Nev. – Nevada’s Center for Entrepreneurship and Technology (NCET) is making significant changes to their offering of programs and events to provide highly relevant information and networking opportunities for the Reno business community. Improvements include renaming and rebranding some programs, content upgrades, as well as the introduction of new programs and summits.
New monthly programs include the NCET Mastermind and Launch Reno. NCET will also host a Tech Hiring Fair, as well as Summits focusing on AI/Digital technologies, innovation, and communications and media.
“The business environment in Northern Nevada has changed significantly in the post-COVID era as have the needs of the business and start-up communities,” said Ira M. Gostin, interim president and CEO of NCET. “We understand that people value their time more than ever which led us to updating and refreshing our events to ensure we provide the most value to the community.”
Below is a summary of NCET programs. Additional details and schedules will be published on the NCET website in the near future.
Biz Bite: NCET’s flagship Lunch & Learn will now be hosted at The Innevation Center and feature new lunches and a better price for members and non-members.

NCET Mastermind: This new monthly, members-only virtual meeting is for founders, owners, and start-ups to ask questions of a local topic expert while crowd sourcing a variety of challenges that founders and owners have.
Launch Reno: This well-established monthly tech meetup will now be hosted by NCET with continued support from EDAWN. This is a mixer event with a topical speaker and plenty of time to discuss and network with other tech-minded members of our community.
