September 24, 2025 – RENO, Nev. – Nevada’s Center for Entrepreneurship and Technology (NCET) will host an Innovation Summit at Reno Startup Week Sept. 29th, the first morning of Reno Startup Week, a week-long event focused on promoting the Northern Nevada region’s entrepreneurial community and start-up ecosystem.
Organized by the Economic Development Agency of Western Nevada (EDAWN), Reno Startup Week features a variety of discussions, workshops, presentations and networking opportunities to give entrepreneurs, investors, business leaders and community an opportunity to connect and share ideas.
“We’re thrilled to feature NCET—an essential pillar of Reno’s entrepreneurial ecosystem—at Reno Startup Week,” said Doug Erwin, senior vice president of entrepreneurial development at EDAWN. “NCET’s Innovation Summit will bring a dynamic lineup of workshops designed to spark innovation and inspire collaboration across our community.”
The NCET Innovation Summit presentations will be held on Monday, September 29 in the Emory Club House at the Reno Entertainment District.

9:00 – 9:50: Amanda Long, founder of Smart Marketing Squad will discuss How to Think, Work, and Lead Smarter with AI.

10:20 – 11:10: A panel discussion, Igniting AI Innovation in Our Community, will feature moderator Crystal Harvey, product manager at ReSim, Juston Berg, founder of Adler, Will Brendel, general partner at Crossroads Venture Studio and Erica Olsen, CEO of Madison AI.

11:20 – 12:10: Sean Montgomery, founder of Connected Future Labs, will discuss Connecting Tech and Entrepreneurship, using his entrepreneurial journey with Connected Future Labs as a case study.
