LAS VEGAS – The Nevada Bankers Association (NBA) announced it will hold its third annual Nevada Trust Conference from April 29 to May 1, 2024, at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.
Now in its third year, NBA officials said the conference is “a must for estate management professionals, attorneys and accountants in Nevada and throughout the U.S.” It will highlight the differences and advantages of Nevada’s trust environment while offering continuing education credits for a variety of industry credentials and jurisdictions.
“Top experts with experience in the field will separate fact from myth regarding the accessibility and responsiveness of the jurisdiction,” said NBA President and CEO Phyllis Gurgevich. “Nevada offers a unique environment for trusts, and conference participants will gain insight into how a Nevada trust can provide a strong sense of certainty for their clients, families and their lives. While our state is often a separate topic at trust events around the country, our conference gets the facts right.”
Industry experts will present on topics ranging from what’s really going on these days in estate and gift tax audits to a federal tax update to the nuts and bolts of fiduciary accounting. Participants will hear from national speakers including Sam Donaldson, David Handler, Louis Harrison, Paul Lee, Dick Kinyon, Ray Thornson, Joe Toce, Jr. and more. Nevada experts include Bob Armstrong, Sallie Armstrong, Benjamin Edwards and Michaelle Rafferty.
According to NBA, participants may earn up to 20 continuing credits for various industry credentials.
NBA’s platinum sponsors for the 2024 in-person conference will include Charles Schwab, Laurel Trust and Seiler LLP.
