RENO, Nev. – The Nevada Builders Foundation has partnered with Nevada Women’s Fund to establish a $10,000 endowed scholarship aimed at empowering women pursuing careers in the trades. The scholarship marks a significant step toward opening doors in an industry traditionally dominated by men.
The scholarship aligns with Nevada Women’s Fund’s mission to create opportunities for women and highlights the Nevada Builders Foundation’s commitment to fostering a diverse workforce.
“Women have incredible potential to make a lasting impact in the trades, and this endowed scholarship helps remove financial barriers to their success,” said Ila Achtabowski, President and CEO of Nevada Women’s Fund. “We’re grateful for the Nevada Builders Foundation’s investment in creating more equitable opportunities for women across Northern Nevada.”
