Nevada Donor Network (NDN) announced today Elizabeth Shaller has been promoted to chief operating officer. Shaller has served as the vice president of organ operations since 2022 and will now take on additional responsibilities as chief operating officer.
Shaller possesses vast expertise in organ donation and transplantation management. Her advocacy for the use of new technologies has positioned NDN at the forefront of the innovation field, marking significant advancements in organ preservation and transplantation capabilities. Shaller has also been integral in building a stronger, more trustworthy reputation among transplant centers and hospital partners, allowing NDN to coordinate the recovery of lifesaving and healing gifts in record numbers. Together, these efforts earned her recognition as Southern Nevada’s 2025 “Remarkable Woman” and inclusion in Vegas Inc’s “40 under 40” list for 2025.
Shaller is currently serving a three-year term as the regional representative for Nevada, California, Utah, and Arizona on the Organ Procurement and Transplantation Network (OPTN) Safety and Operations Committee. Previously, she served as a member of the OPTN Vascularized Composite Allograft (VCA) Transplantation Committee. Before joining NDN, Shaller was part of the Miami Transplant Institute (MTI) where she worked in several management roles including the development of the in-house organ intake center and organ perfusion program. As a native Floridian, Shaller began her career in transplant at Life Alliance Organ Recovery Agency in 2013.
Shaller earned a Bachelor of Science in business marketing from Florida State University and a Master of Business Administration with a specialization in health care administration from Florida International University.
