Nevada Donor Network (NDN) is excited to announce another record-breaking year of honoring heroic donors while saving and healing more lives than ever before. In 2025, Nevada Donor Network (NDN) rose to the challenge, achieving growth across key measures of donation, earning recognition as a Tier 1A Organ Procurement Organization (OPO), the highest performance designation by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS).
In a year marked by headwinds across the country, NDN’s mission-driven work resulted in the recovery of lifesaving and healing gifts from 262 organ donor heroes, 1090 tissue donor heroes, 1586 cornea donor heroes and 2957 heroic mothers graciously donated their birth tissue. The donations from these heroic donors resulted in 795 organs transplanted, along with over 300,000 tissue grafts, and sight restoration to over 3000 recipients, bringing hope and healing to patients and families across Nevada and beyond.

This milestone reflects the dedication and expertise of NDN’s extraordinary staff, whose around-the-clock efforts ensure every opportunity for donation is honored with dignity and care. It also highlights the critical partnership with hospitals across Nevada, whose clinical teams work side by side with NDN to save and heal lives.

As the only Nevada-based 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organ procurement organization (OPO), Nevada Donor Network serves millions of Nevadans and thousands of Americans across the country in the facilitation of organ, eye and tissue donation.
There are currently over 100,000 Americans, including nearly 700 Nevadans, who are waiting for a lifesaving gift on the organ transplant waiting list. One heroic organ donor can save up to eight lives through organ donation, can heal up to 75 lives through tissue donation and can restore sight to up to two people through cornea donation.
