CARSON CITY, Nev. – Nevada Health Link has announced the brokers/agents selected for the Fiscal Year 2026 Broker Award Program as well as the community organizations selected for the Fiscal Year 2026 and 2027 Navigator Program Awards. The broker awardees, selected annually, and the navigator awardees, selected every two years, awards funding to select brokers and navigators to provide additional marketing and outreach support during the Open Enrollment Period, which runs annually from November 1 to January 15. Applicants submit a robust proposal and are evaluated by Nevada Health Link staff as part of the selection process.
Brokers and agents offer year-round, no-cost enrollment assistance to help Nevadans understand and enroll in health insurance plans through NevadaHealthLink.com. They provide expert guidance, compare plan options, and help individuals and families select the coverage that best fits their needs. In tandem with brokers/agents, navigator/assister entities also provide year-round, no-cost assistance, but are primarily responsible for outreach and education for Nevada’s uninsured and underinsured populations. Navigators are available to answer enrollment questions and provide unbiased explanations of the Qualified Health and Dental Plans available through Nevada Health Link. While navigator/assister organizations are licensed, they are not employed by private insurance brokers and have no direct affiliation with insurance carriers.

Both the Broker/Agent program and Navigator/Assister program are instrumental in reaching uninsured Nevadans, providing education and free in-person or over-the-phone assistance to those seeking to purchase affordable, qualified health plans. Nevada Health Link also offers free assistance in over 130 languages, emphasizing the goal of making enrolling in a plan as easy and convenient as possible for every Nevadan.
