Open Enrollment through Nevada Health Link began on November 1, and Nevadans are actively enrolling to ensure they have the health coverage they need for the year ahead. Early activity indicates steady engagement from both new consumers and returning enrollees, with individuals continuing to visit the Marketplace to explore their options and complete enrollments. Reports indicate active enrollments remain steady from the same time last year during Open Enrollment.
For current Nevada Health Link enrollees, actively shopping and comparing options during Open Enrollment may lead to meaningful savings. Enrollees who have shopped and changed plans during this Open Enrollment Period have saved an average of $287 per month on premiums.
“We want every Nevadan to feel confident that they’re receiving the best value for their health coverage and the best way to do that is to actively shop and compare your options,” said Janel Davis, Executive Officer of Nevada Health Link. “Especially for current enrollees who are planning to renew their plan, actively shopping or talking to a free broker or navigator can really help eligible Nevadans find the plan that best fits their medical needs and budget.”
Nevada Health Link urges all Nevadans, both new and existing consumers, to actively shop the Marketplace this Open Enrollment Period. With new carriers, new plan options, including the new Battle Born State Plans, and changes to premium tax credits coming in 2026, it has never been more important to visit NevadaHealthLink.com and explore available choices. Many Nevadans may discover a plan that offers better coverage at a lower price by comparing options.
Current enrollees are strongly encouraged to log in, update their information, and confirm their application reflects the most accurate details. Keeping information such as income, address, and household size up-to-date helps determine the correct amount of financial assistance and ensures a smoother enrollment experience.
Those who enroll by December 31, 2025, 11:59 p.m., will have coverage effective on January 1, 2026. For those who enroll between January 1 and January 15, coverage will begin February 1, 2026.
