Diagnostic health care in Southern Nevada has taken a new leap forward with the opening of the new Tenaya Clinic and Imaging Center by Nevada Heart & Vascular Center.
As the largest cardiology practice in Nevada, Nevada Heart & Vascular Center’s new 11,000-square-foot Tenaya Clinic and Imaging Center provides a convenient one-stop location for Las Vegans to better care for their overall health.
“We have directly invested in improving the health and lives of Southern Nevadans with the most advanced technology at our new imaging center,” said Nevada Heart & Vascular Center Chief Medical Officer Dr. Tony Alamo, M.D. “We welcome our referring medical partners from across the Las Vegas Valley to work with us to make this a healthier place to call home.”
The modern facility features two Siemens Healthineers BIOGRAPH Horizon full-body scanners, giving medical professionals the opportunity to see inside the body with limited intervention activities needed. They complement the Computed Tomography Angiography (CTA) and Positron Emission Tomography (PET) machines also available in the clinic.
“Because we understand the power of fast, accurate results, our practice is the only one in Southern Nevada that owns and operates its own cardiac imaging centers,” Dr. Alamo added.
Along with all of latest innovations in technology, the Tenaya Clinic and Imaging Center also provides Southern Nevadans with convenient access to clinical services such as general, interventional and electrophysiology cardiology, in addition to cardiothoracic and vascular procedures.
The side-by-side location of the clinic and imaging center makes it easy and convenient for patients to receive outpatient cardiology and vascular care in one location without having to travel to different places around town.
