NEVADA— The Nevada Office of Traffic Safety released its January 2025 Statewide Fatal Report, showing a slight improvement compared to last year. In January, 39 lives were claimed on Nevada’s roadways compared to 42 last year, marking a 7.14% decrease. Despite the improvement, anything other than Zero Fatalities on our roads is unacceptable. Whether you’re driving to a date on Valentine’s Day or celebrating President’s Day weekend, the Nevada Office of Traffic Safety would like to remind everyone to drive sober and safe to prevent death on our roadways so everyone can return to their loved ones and enjoy their holiday.
Attached is the state’s January Fatal Report in full. Please note that this report is a point in time comparison. 2025 data is preliminary and does not necessarily include final reports (Form 5, Coroner, and/or Toxicology reports). 2025 data will not be final until 2026.
