
RENO – Nevada State Bank has named Nathan Howell vice president and small business relationship manager, where he will oversee a portfolio of small business clients. Howell will focus on generating community awareness and relationships regarding small business banking products and services throughout Northern Nevada.
Howell brings 11 years of experience in banking and finance to his new role. He joined Nevada State Bank in 2017 and previously served as a portfolio risk officer.
“We are excited to have Nathan join the small business team,” said Jana Benton, senior vice president, small business loan servicing and sales manager for Nevada State Bank. “His knowledge and experience with the bank will allow him to provide the highest level of service to our small business clients.”
Born and raised in Reno, Howell earned a bachelor’s degree in business from the University of Nevada, Reno. An active member of the community, he volunteers with Junior Achievement, teaching financial literacy lessons in elementary schools, and also volunteers as an assistant Boy Scout troop leader.
